These are joke videos - I don't think any of them actually work, lol.

Mythbusters have already busted it...

Who are you, and why are you doing this?

You mean common sense is a secret? Turn off the A/C, and reduce the weight. Wow. Or drive half as much.

Acetone is corrosive on the engine and will dissolve plastic and rubber parts such as gaskets. I doubt it will lower the consumption but I know it will harm your engine!
Inuyasha546854
Mythbusters have never done anything with acetone for engine milage.....it really does work but Catamount's right...it does cause carotion to the pistons
sills66
ur spare tire is there for a reason dumbass.plus i'm not going to put some random fucking chemical in my car when they make octane boost for cars. god ur so damn stupid.
eddyfieldhouse
a 1.2 deisel would use more fuel because you constantly have to mash your foot down just to get a little bit of acceleration. Better engines usually up to 2 litres give a nice optimum of power to fuel consumption without straining the engine so you don't have to put the toe down so often if you're careful
Catamountfootball99
acetone carodes the pistons

This is a bunch of garbage, I question all of your testing methods from here on out. |
